The First Annual Diabetes Symposium of Wisconsin
9:00 am — 4:30 pm
May. 9 — May. 11

Epidemiological data shows that diabetes is increasing and that this is also true for the State of Wisconsin. There is increased associated morbidity and mortality with this diagnosis and leads to significant increased healthcare costs. Data also shows that better diagnosis, management, as well as institution of preventative measures can affect these outcomes positively.

The purpose of this conference will not only be to highlight the newer advances in diabetes management, but also to improve the overall knowledge base of the healthcare team that look after patients with diabetes. This conference is the first of what we expect to become an annual update in diabetes management.
