FOUNDATION EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Wisconsin Medical Society Foundation mission is to advance the health of the people of Wisconsin by supporting medical and health education. We provide grants for health-related projects, and offer loans, scholarships and fellowships for Wisconsin health occupation students. The Executive Director leads the Foundation Board in developing strategy and goals, and managing the financial, fund development and staff operations of the Foundation.

Position requires bachelors degree in business or related field and minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a 501(c)(3) organization, including management, marketing and fund development. Experience with grant making, grant writing and research agreements preferred. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required, including ability to interact effectively with physicians. PROJECT MANAGER, Health Care Data

The Wisconsin Medical Society is the largest physician membership association in the state. The project manager coordinates a large, multi-product data warehouse implementation project through its development, modifications & implementation. This position interfaces across functional teams, organizational levels, and with external parties, managing project schedules, team integration, and risk mitigation. The manager identifies, prioritizes, communicates and drives resolution of issues.
Position requires bachelor’s degree in business, clinical or IT field and 5 years demonstrated project management experience. PMP and background in quality and process engineering is highly desirable. Ability to align business objectives, excellent communication skills and multi-team management experience required. This position is key to educating legislative and regulatory policymakers on Society policies. The Specialist analyzes bills, policies and rules, accomplishes research, and is a significant voice for physicians at the capitol. This position also supports Society councils and coordinates grassroots political activity.

Position requires bachelor’s degree and 3 years of government relations experience in health care or related field. Requires command of health care economic & political issues and strong legislative research skills.
