Transformational Leadership

Transformational Leadership for Breakthrough Health Care Improvements:
Collaborating. Learning. Leading.

Transformational Leadership Series

After spending years learning about, preparing for and then practicing medicine, many physicians find themselves in a role that positions them to be a leader—of a department, division, hospital, board or membership organization. These roles require specific skillsets and competencies, most of which are not taught in medical school or residency programs.

Regardless of the organization type and roles physicians may accept, a scan of today’s health care environment reveals an emerging need for leadership that is not only responsible and strategic to meet a multitude of demands, but is transformational.

The purpose of the Transformational Leadership Series is to assist physicians in developing strategic plans for their leadership growth, as it relates to:
  • Using data
  • Making improvements
  • Supporting physicians’ professional development
  • Facilitating education about business and management
  • Individual learning plans for leadership

Physicians and members of their team are invited to participate in this effective and informative series. Continuing medical education (CME) credits are available for the live webinars.
