Occupational and Environmental Medicine

The purpose of the Occupational & Environmental Medicine Section is to provide a forum within the Society for the exchange of information among occupational and environmental medicine physicians. It also represents the opinions and ideals of occupational and environmental medicine physicians within the Society and maintains liaison with national occupational and environmental medicine physician associations.

DWD 81—Workers’ Compensation Treatment Guidelines

Outlined by Maja Jurisic, MD—October 2007

(The final version of DWD 81 can be found here.) To save time, Dr. Jurisic condensed the 157 pages of densely written Tx Guidelines (in outline form with lots of white space on the page) into a 29 page document. She also distilled the information into four pages of an ultra-abridged chart version with tx limits and durations of tx. These 4 pages are included at the back of the document, and can also be found here.
