Leadership and Involvement
The Wisconsin Medical Society gives Residents a voice in the future of medicine, because decisions are being made today that will affect your practice. The Resident and Fellow Section (RFS) works to develop events and programs for Wisconsin residents and fellows.
In addition, the RFS Governing Council raises issues important to resident, and the RFS Section has a seat on the Society Board of Directors. Residents are encouraged to work on Society strategic councils and task forces, which deal with policies ranging from public health issues to data collection to working with Medicaid and Medicare officials.
If you are interested in participating with the section, have ideas for programming or would like more information, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Each year, Wisconsin Medical Society (Society) leadership positions become available to members of the Society’s Special Sections, and elections are held in the spring. Click here for information on open RFS and YPS positions, or to nominate yourself or a colleage.
