CME offered for Wednesday’s webinar about EHRs in primary care

Wisconsin Medical Society member John Beasley, MD, will highlight some of the cognitive demands and workflow complexities often found in primary care practice during the webinar From Meaningful Use to Rational Use: The EHR in Primary Care on Wednesday, February 27. He will discuss how EHRs have affected workloads and patient outcomes and explore strategies that health care organizations, physicians and other health care professionals can use to maximize efficiency, patient safety and patient outcomes.

A family medicine physician, Dr. Beasley is a professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and an honorary associate professor in the UW’s Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering.
