Society, NGS offering free webinar about Medicare Part B transition

The Wisconsin Medical Society and National Government Services (NGS) are hosting a joint webinar Wednesday, July 24 to assist physicians and other health care professionals who participate in Medicare Part B with the transition to the new Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC). Society educator Jen Cohrs CPC, CPMA, CGIC, and Christine Obergfell, CPC, from NGS will lead the discussion during the complimentary webinar NGS Transition for Part B Providers.

Participants will learn about the necessary actions in preparation for NGS becoming the Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) for Part B Jurisdiction 6 (J6) on September 7. Ms. Cohrs and Ms. Obergfell also will discuss electronic data interchange (EDI), avoiding interruption in reimbursement, NGS website tools and resources, contractor interpretations of policies and much more.
