Still time to register for April 12 event exploring the science of emotions

Wisconsin Medical Society member Zorba Paster, MD, has signed on to emcee the Foundation’s Fundraising Dinner and Silent Auction on Friday, April 12 in Madison. A family medicine physician with Dean Clinic-Oregon, Dr. Paster is host of Zorba Paster On Your Health, a weekly program on National Public Radio and Wisconsin Public Radio. Richard J. Davidson, PhD, founder of the Center for Investigating Healthy Minds, is the guest speaker.

Individual tickets for the Foundation’s annual fundraising event are $125, and the deadline to purchase them is Monday, April 1. Several sponsor levels for hosting a table of eight are available as well; register today to ensure recognition in the event program. The evening begins at 5 p.m. with a silent auction, followed by dinner at 7 p.m. and Dr. Davidson’s presentation at 8. Items available for bid include:

Almost 500 health care and business leaders from across the state are expected for this event to celebrate the Foundation’s success and raise funds for its work supporting medical education and improving health for all Wisconsinites.
