Nominations for the Wisconsin Medical Society’s Physician Citizen of the Year Award are due Friday, December 13, 2013. The Physician Citizen of the Year Award recognizes and encourages Wisconsin physicians who volunteer their time and talents through civic and cultural activities, helping to improve the health and well-being of their communities.
Consider nominating a friend, colleague or personal physician for this award. Details and a nomination form are on the Society’s website.
In 2013, Ryan Gossett, MD, Wausau, and William Nietert, MD, Mosinee, received the Physician Citizen of the Year Award for their work with the Never Forgotten Honor Flight.
The award recipients were recognized during the Society’s Annual Meeting in April and were highlighted in a WMJ supplement with highlights from the 2013 Annual Meeting.
