WHIO learning forum coming up in October

Spotlight on Payment Report: Finding What Works is the focus of the Wisconsin Health Information Organization’s (WHIO) learning forum Tuesday, Oct. 14, at the Crowne Plaza Madison. The all-day event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The keynote speaker, Elizabeth Mitchell, president and CEO of the Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement (NRHI), will talk about efforts to measure and publish the Total Cost of Care in five other states.

Other topics include applying for total cost of care, Medicaid payment reform, SMARTCare and controlling specialty pharmacy costs.
