UW to host annual Seminars in Pediatrics conference

Pediatricians and family physicians from throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest are invited to attend the 2014 Seminars in Pediatrics, hosted annually by the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics and the American Family Children’s Hospital. The conference, scheduled for September 18-19 at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center, Madison, will highlight the latest trends in pediatric research and clinical practice.

The conference will feature keynote speaker Marc S. Williams, MD, FAAP, FACMG, who is the director of the Genomic Medicine Institute at the Geisinger Health System in Danville, Penn. Several leading University of Wisconsin researchers and clinicians also will discuss hot topics in pediatric medicine including Down Syndrome, clinical genetics in primary care, urology and cardiology.
