Society member honored by Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care

The Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care (WAPC) will honor Julian E. De Lia, MD, FACOG, FACS, at its annual conference banquet on April 28, 2014, as the recipient of the 2014 Callon-Leonard Award. Dr. De Lia, a longtime Wisconsin Medical Society member, is a professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. His areas of expertise are complicated multiples pregnancies and Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome.

The Callon-Leonard Award is the highest honor awarded by the association and was first presented in 1976 in recognition of WAPC founders Helen F. Callon, RN, CNM, and Thomas A. Leonard, MD. It celebrates the outstanding efforts and contributions of an individual on behalf of mothers, infants, and families in Wisconsin.
