Internet celebrity ZDoggMD, also known as Zubin Damania, MD, is the featured speaker at the Wisconsin Medical Society Foundation’s 2015 Fundraising Dinner and Silent Auction scheduled for Friday, April 24, 2015, at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center in Madison.
During his 10-year hospitalist career at Stanford, Dr. Damania received the Russell Lee Award for Clinical Teaching, while also maintaining a shadow career creating comedy videos under the pseudonym ZDoggMD. His videos educate patients and physicians alike, while mercilessly satirizing the dysfunctions in the health care system. Now, Dr. Damania is moving from satire to actionable change with the founding of Turntable Health, a primary care ecosystem focused on promoting wellness at both the individual and community level.
Proceeds from this event will support the Foundation’s medical education and health initiatives with a portion dedicated to supporting summer fellowships focused on community health education and research projects.
For information on hosting a table or to request a mailed invitation, e-mail Foundation Outreach Coordinator Heather Sonley or call her at 608.442.3756.
