The Wisconsin Medical Society Foundation is accepting grant applications for 2015 community-based or statewide health education initiatives and research projects that aim to improve health in Wisconsin. The application deadline is Oct. 20, 2014.
Close to $50,000 is available for grants, including funds dedicated for health education and research, mental health, physician education and medical outcomes research. This may include data collection, analysis and/or dissemination of results. Individual grant awards generally range from $500 to $10,000.
The Foundation’s preference is to support innovative projects focused on prevention and with the potential for great impact, visibility and replication in other communities. Preference also is given to projects with involvement or support from a Wisconsin Medical Society member, which may include students and residents.
