Nominate a young physician leader; deadline Nov. 2

The Wisconsin Medical Society Foundation is now seeking nominations for the Kenneth M. Viste, Jr., MD Young Physician Leadership Award, which will be presented at the Society’s Annual Meeting, April 2-3, 2016, in Madison. Please consider nominating a young physician from your area who has demonstrated a commitment to patients, the community and the profession of medicine. The deadline is Nov. 2.

A young physician is defined as a licensed Wisconsin physician who is less than 40 years old or has been practicing medicine fewer than five years.

In addition to an engraved award, the Foundation will make a contribution to a charitable organization of the recipient’s choice. Recent recipients include Dipesh Navsaria, MD, Claudia Reardon, MD, Jake Behrens, MD, and Keshni Ramnanan, MD.
