There’s less than a month left to submit abstracts to the Wisconsin Medical Society’s Innovations in Health Care forum. The quality improvement and research forum is being held April 2, 2016, in conjunction with the Society’s 2016 Annual Meeting. The deadline to submit abstracts is Jan. 11, 2016.
The Society encourages medical students, residents and practicing physicians to submit abstracts for consideration as posters or oral presentations. The new forum is intended to showcase health care innovations that optimize health care delivery and ensure accessible, efficient, patient-centered quality care. Submissions should fall into one of three key areas: Health Care Quality and Population Health; Health Care Delivery, Access and Finance; and Health Care Ethics.
Awards will be presented for most promising research in each of the three categories, and all accepted abstracts will be published in WMJ, the Society’s peer-reviewed, scientific journal.
All submissions must be completed electronically via an online submission form by Jan. 11. More information, including submission guidelines, instructions and the submission form are available on the Society’s website.
