Nominations for Champions in Women’s Health due before midnight Jan. 30

The Wisconsin Women’s Health Foundation (WWHF) is seeking nominations for its Champion in Women’s Health Awards, which honors individuals who have dedicated their professional careers to the improvement of women’s health in Wisconsin. Nominations for the 2015 awards are due before midnight on Friday, Jan. 30.

Past award recipients have been instrumental in raising awareness about women’s health issues and have made a positive impact on the quality of care women in the state. Wisconsin Medical Society members John Mielke, MD, and Adedayo A. Onitilo, MD, MSCR, FACP, were both recognized in 2014. Doctor Mielke and his wife Sally were honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

There will be a reception on Saturday, May 9, at the Concourse Hotel in Madison for the 2015 award recipients. The award winners also will receive four complementary tickets to the WWHF’s Spring Gala at the State Capitol that evening.
