Society members to present CME sessions at Symposium 2015

Three Wisconsin Medical Society members will present breakout sessions at the Society’s Symposium 2015, Sept. 21-22 at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells. This annual event—now in its 16th year—will once again provide educational programs for physicians and their health care teams, and this year’s agenda also features sessions approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.

The following breakout sessions are being presented by Society members and Jen Cohrs, CPC, CPMA, CGIC, the Society’s director of educational strategies:

  • Quality Over Quantity: Top Terminology That Drives Successful Clinical Documentation Improvement, presented by Greg Blommel, MD, medical director of quality and outcomes, Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin Community Physicians, Milwaukee.
  • The GI ‘Scope’ of 2015 presented by Eric Johnson, MD, gastroenterologist and advanced endoscopist, Gastrointestinal Associates, S.C., Wausau.
  • All About Opioid Abuse and Dependence Coding and Reimbursement presented by Joseph Blustein, MD, Madison.
