Schwartzstein elected to national leadership position

Wisconsin Medical Society member Alan Schwartzstein, MD, was elected American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) Vice Speaker of the Congress of Delegates at AAFP’s 2015 meeting in Denver earlier this week.

Doctor Schwartzstein, a family medicine physician at Dean Clinic in Oregon, Wis., currently serves as chair of the Society’s Constitution Bylaws Committee, and is a member of the Council on Legislation and the House of Delegates (HOD) Nominating Committee. Doctor Schwartzstein also is an HOD delegate for the Dane County Medical Society and a past member of the Society’s Board of Directors.
