WisconsinEye to debut new dementia documentary

WisconsinEye has produced a new 11-part documentary series on dementia and Alzheimer’s disease that will premiere on May 2 at 7 p.m. Dealing with Dementia draws on over 30 interviews with people with dementia, their caregivers, physicians, researchers, business leaders and Health Services Secretary Kitty Rhodes, who launched the state’s “Dementia-Capable Wisconsin.”

Topics the documentary addresses include warning signs, current research, tips for caregivers, and public policy to address the growing numbers of people living with dementia.
