Improve the health of the people of Wisconsin by supporting and strengthening physicians' ability to practice high-quality patient care in a changing environment.

Save the Date: Healthy Hospitals and Clinics forum Sept. 30

“What Health Looks Like: Policy, Practice and Community Connections” is the focus of the 2nd Annual Healthy Hospitals and Clinics Forum, being held Sept. 30 at the Sheraton Hotel in Madison.

The day-long event is part of the Wisconsin Healthy Hospitals and Clinics Initiative, a project of the Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer Control Program, which launched in partnership with the American Family Children’s Hospital last year. Its goal is to engage and support Wisconsin hospitals and clinics in creating healthier food and beverage environments through policy, system and environmental changes.

Forum highlights include keynote speakers Jeff Thompson, former CEO of Gundersen Health System and Thia Bryan, senior product consultant for Health Partners, along with 16 breakout presentations addressing policy, practice, employee and patient satisfaction and community connections. The Wisconsin Medical Society is a member of the event planning committee.
