Improve the health of the people of Wisconsin by supporting and strengthening physicians' ability to practice high-quality patient care in a changing environment.

Society launches Doc to Doc blog

The Wisconsin Medical Society has launched a new blog, Doc to Doc, by Society Chief Medical Officer Donn Dexter, MD.

Every day, the Society is engaged in myriad efforts ranging from advocacy on behalf of physicians and patients to professional development and satisfaction and community outreach. Doctor Dexter, a board-certified neurologist and sleep medicine specialist who has been in practice for nearly 30 years, will use Doc to Doc as a forum to share information and insight into these efforts —and other issues affecting health care—doctor to doctor.

“I am hoping to use this new blog to reach out to physicians with topics of interest to me—and hopefully to you—regarding our profession,” said Dr. Dexter in his first post last week.

In this week’s post, Dr. Dexter reflects on a successful Doctor Day at the State Capitol Feb. 10. Click here to read Doc to Doc and bookmark the link for quick access to the latest post.
