Improve the health of the people of Wisconsin by supporting and strengthening physicians' ability to practice high-quality patient care in a changing environment.

Still time to register for Annual Meeting forum April 2

The Wisconsin Medical Society’s Annual Meeting is just a week away, but there is still time to register for the Society’s quality improvement and research forum, Innovations in Health Care, Saturday, April 2, from 2 to 6 p.m.

Approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™, the program will feature a keynote presentation, Engaging Physicians in Meaningful Measurement, followed by a panel discussion with three Society task force leaders. The forum also will include three selected abstract presentations highlighting research and strategies that optimize health care delivery and ensure accessible, efficient, patient-centered quality care. The afternoon will conclude with a collegial networking poster session. Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Determination of credit is pending.

Registration is required for all attendees, and seating is limited. Special pricing is available for Society members; and Annual Meeting delegates, board members and students and residents, should e-mail education@wismed.org to receive login information and a coupon code.

To register or for more information, visit the Society’s Continuing Education Center. This program is supported by an educational grant from the Henry A. and Irene S. Anderson Fund of the Wisconsin Medical Society Foundation.

For those who cannot attend the Annual Meeting, there is still time to submit comments on resolutions online* via the Society’s Virtual Reference Committees (VRCs). Members can review resolutions and post comments online through March 27. Comments submitted by March 27 will be viewable on the Society’s website through conclusion of the Annual Meeting and will be reviewed and considered by Reference Committee members along with testimony received at the in-person Reference Committee hearings.

More information about resolutions and the 2016 Annual Meeting, including a schedule of events, is available on the Society’s website.*
