DEA to host Milwaukee opioid summit June 15

As part of its 360 Strategy, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has partnered with Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) to host Key Influencers Summit: Addressing Milwaukee’s Opioid Epidemic June 15 at the Italian Cultural Center in Milwaukee.

The daylong summit, being held from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., will bring together community leaders to focus on key sectors critical in influencing behavior change: faith, families, education, law enforcement and the health care continuum.

There is no cost to participate, and attendees will gain:

  • In-depth insights on the national and local opioid landscape.
  • Tangible strategies and tactics to address the heroin epidemic within their sphere of influence.
  • Access to a panel of experts spanning from law enforcement officers to grassroots community activists to health care professionals.
  • Networking opportunities with local and national leaders addressing this issue.
