Opioid CME coming to Wisconsin Dells April 22

Registration is open for an in-person version of the Wisconsin Medical Society’s highly rated webinar, Wisconsin Medical Examining Board Opioid Prescribing Guideline. The program is being offered in conjunction with the Society’s Annual Meeting on Saturday, April 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Glacier Canyon Conference Center at the Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells.

Approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ and fulfilling the Medical Examining Board’s (MEB) two-hour continuing education requirement, this educational opportunity is aimed at improving opioid prescribing without compromising the quality of patient care. Presenter Michael McNett, MD, Medical Director for Chronic Pain at Aurora Greater Milwaukee South, will provide a comprehensive review of the Wisconsin MEB’s Opioid Prescribing Guideline, including information about the Enhanced Prescription Drug Monitoring Program.

To learn more or to register, visit the Society’s Continuing Education Center.

Special pricing is available for all Society members. Annual Meeting delegates and Society Board members should contact education@wismed.org prior to registering to receive login information and a coupon code. All participants must register as space is limited.

This program is supported by a grant from the PIC Wisconsin Fund of the Wisconsin Medical Society Foundation.
