Improve the health of the people of Wisconsin by supporting and strengthening physicians' ability to practice high-quality patient care in a changing environment.

Physician satisfaction survey deadline December 20

More than 900 physicians statewide have completed the Wisconsin Medical Society’s physician satisfaction survey, and we are hoping to exceed 1,000 responses before the survey closes next week.

The brief survey asks questions about burnout, professional value alignment, workload, demographics and other topics related to physician satisfaction. Responses are confidential, and will be used to shape dialogue with key health care stakeholders, serve as a guide to develop further strategies and interventions to improve satisfaction, and aid in developing policies and principles for the profession.

A reminder and link to the survey was e-mailed to Society members yesterday from Heather Schmidt, DO, chair of the Society’s Physician Experience Task Force. If you have already responded, thank you! If not, please take a few minutes to provide your feedback.

Contact Peter Welch, vice president of public affairs and strategic advocacy initiatives for more information.
