Improve the health of the people of Wisconsin by supporting and strengthening physicians' ability to practice high-quality patient care in a changing environment.

Society’s Association Health Plan continues to grow

Although most health insurance renewals are winding down for the year, the Wisconsin Medical Society Association Health Plan (Plan) is open for year-round enrollment and offers a unique option for health care organizations.

Created in 2016 to continue to serve Society members in the changing health insurance market, the Plan provides a range of options, allowing groups to offer as many as six of eight plan designs to their employees. Wisconsin Medical Society Insurance and Financial Services, Inc. is the Plan’s exclusive broker and WPS is the insurance carrier.

There are currently 22 groups participating in the Plan with more than 400 employees and 1,100 total members.

“We are very pleased with participation in the Association Health Plan to date, particularly given the addition of several new groups and 100 percent retention, and we hope to continue to see it grow,” said Wisconsin Medical Society Holdings CEO Linda Syth. “It provides a valuable option to Society members, and we are confident WPS will continue to deliver great benefits and service to our Plan customers.”
