Registration open for Wisconsin Section ACOG annual conference

Haywood Brown, MD, president of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), will be the featured presenter at the Wisconsin Section, ACOG Annual Conference next month. The conference, “Advancing OB/Gyn Care in Wisconsin,” is August 11-12 at the Blue Harbor Resort in Sheboygan.

Doctor Brown, who served as the chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Duke University for 14 years and became the 68th president of ACOG in May, will address disparities in health care and reproductive health outcomes and will offer insight into the importance of team-based care and telehealth for improving outcomes.

In addition, regional and local experts will present sessions that address Menopausal Medicine, Gynecologic Dermatology, Family Planning: LARC, Post-Placental IUD Implantation and STD. The conference also will include the popular Subspecialty News Flash session, covering the latest updates in Gynecologic Oncology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Reproductive Endocrinology and Urogynecology.
