Society’s Council on Legislation to meet May 19

The Society’s Council on Legislation will discuss a variety of issues at its May 19 meeting at Society headquarters in Madison. Topics include legislative proposals related to Lyme Disease, tracking the sale of pseudoephedrine, creation of a medicolegal investigation examining board and other bills related to pharmacy, chiropractic and the state’s worker’s compensation system.

The Council also will discuss the latest issues related to the Enhanced Prescription Drug Monitoring Program and receive an update on state biennial budget deliberations.

All Society members are welcome to attend the meeting, which begins at 1 p.m. An agenda and meeting materials will be available in the members-only section of the Society website early next week.
