Society meets with Rep. Grothman on association health plan rule
Society staff and Association Health Plan Trustee John Maher, MD, met with U.S. Rep. Glenn Grothman and staff last week to share ongoing concerns regarding the U.S. Department of Labor’s proposed rule on association health plans. As written, the rule would make it difficult for the Society’s Association Health plan to continue to operate. Read more.

Statewide Prescription Drug Take Back Day is April 28
In partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Wisconsin law enforcement agencies will again hold Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 28. Police and sheriffs’ departments will host events throughout Wisconsin as part of the event. Read more.
