Improve the health of the people of Wisconsin by supporting and strengthening physicians' ability to practice high-quality patient care in a changing environment.

Reviewers sought for WMJ

WMJ is seeking to expand its existing pool of highly qualified reviewers. Published six times a year, WMJ is a peer-reviewed, indexed scientific journal, published by the Wisconsin Medical Society with financial and leadership support from the Medical College of Wisconsin and the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Since 1903, it has provided the opportunity for physicians and other health care professionals throughout the Midwest to publish original research, case reports, review articles and essays about current medical issues.

Reviewers are invited to review manuscripts electronically based on their specialties and areas of interest. They receive manuscripts electronically and are asked to review and return them with comments electronically within four weeks. Guidelines are available here.

Physicians and other health care professionals interested in serving as reviewers are asked to e-mail wmj@wismed.org with your name, preferred e-mail address, specialty, at least three areas of expertise or interest, current practice location, and how often you are willing to review. If you have questions or would like additional information, contact Kendi Parvin.
