Reducing stigma and increasing the mental health workforce were two of the topics discussed during a special Facebook Live event this week featuring Society President Molli Rolli, MD.
As a psychiatrist and chair of the Society’s Mental and Behavioral Health Task Force, Dr. Rolli shared with Peter Welch, the Society’s vice president of strategy and partnerships, her perspective on Wisconsin’s psychiatrist shortage, the role of stigma and ideas to increase access to mental health care. Their conversation was recorded in conjunction with National Mental Health Awareness Month and can be viewed here.
The latest episode of WisMed OnCall, “Increasing Access to Mental Health Care,” features a similar conversation between Welch and Dr. Rolli.
