WCHQ statewide quality improvement event June 19

The Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality (WCHQ) Statewide Quality Improvement Event is June 19 at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center in Madison.

SSM President Laura Kaiser, FCHE, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Chief Medical Officer Kate Goodrich, MD, will keynote the conference. In addition, three health care organizations—Gundersen Health System, Access Community Health Centers and the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health—will present their success in improving chronic disease screening and treatment rates, and Divine Savior Healthcare will describe how they are using the Practice Transformation Network to prepare for the pay-for-value environment.

The event, which has been approved for 4.0 continuing education credits, is designed for clinicians, nurses, physicians, clinic managers, quality improvement staff and executive leaders from Wisconsin health systems, medical groups and clinics. Additional information and registration can be accessed at wchq.org.
