IBM Watson VP to keynote Annual Meeting conference

Registration is open for “From Asthma to Zika: A Physician’s Guide to Summer” being held April 5-6 in Madison.

The two-day conference, hosted by the Wisconsin Medical Society, Medical College of Wisconsin and University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health will focus on emerging health care trends in environmental health, infectious disease and trauma.

In addition, Saturday keynote speaker Kyu Rhee, MD, MPP, will present “Inventing and Predicting a New Era of Health With AI. Since its debut on Jeopardy! in 2011, IBM Watson has continued to invest in its mission to transform healthcare through technology. Through data, analytics, consulting and artificial intelligence (AI), Watson Health is working with key stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem to advance to a healthier future by overcoming today’s most pressing health challenges. Doctor Rhee, vice president and chief health officer, IBM Corp and IBM Watson Health, will share the IBM Watson Health story, discuss some of the most impactful solutions clients are using today and highlight some of the scientific evidence demonstrating the impact our technology has on healthcare management, providers and, most importantly, patients.
