District caucus meetings kick off next week

Caucus meetings for the Wisconsin Medical Society’s eight districts begin February 28 with the District 1 meeting at the Ascension-Wauwatosa Campus from 5:30 to 8 p.m. (Click here to RSVP.)

At each caucus meeting, district members debate the various resolutions submitted for consideration by the House of Delegates (HOD) at the Annual Meeting. The caucuses offer delegates and other Society members the opportunity to discuss resolutions before the full HOD meets April 7 in Madison.

The Society’s Annual Meeting, April 5-7 at Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center in Madison, will provide a terrific opportunity for education, enrichment, networking among peers and policy development. In addition to the House of Delegates meeting on Sunday, the event also features a two-day educational conference, a networking reception and inaugural ceremony, awards presentations and the Wisconsin Medical Society Foundation’s annual fundraising dinner and silent auction. March 5 is the deadline to make room reservations at Hilton Madison, so act now to register for the weekend’s events and to secure a hotel room.
