Improve the health of the people of Wisconsin by supporting and strengthening physicians' ability to practice high-quality patient care in a changing environment.

Doctor Day organizers hoping for record turnout

Doctor Day 2019 is Wednesday, May 1 in Madison, and the Wisconsin Medical Society and its partners are hoping for record attendance. More than 400 physicians and medical students representing 20 organizations participated in the Doctor Day 2018.

Now in its seventh year, the event has quickly become one of the largest state Advocacy Day events for physicians in the country. The agenda includes keynote speakers and lunch before meetings with legislators and their staff at the Capitol and a reception nearby for attendees from across the state. Attendance is free thanks to the support of the event’s sponsors.
