Documentation in the electronic health record is often cited as a top contributor to physician burnout. With nearly 54 percent of Wisconsin physicians experiencing burnout, and 47 percent looking to decrease clinical hours or retire in the next five years, according to a recent report in WMJ, many physicians are looking for solutions that will address this issue. Phraze, a company that has developed an artificial intelligence (AI) scribe, is looking to do just that.
In the latest episode of WisMed OnCall, host Peter Welch and Phraze founder Brandon McCutchen, MD, discuss why physicians should think like entrepreneurs and how Phraze is looking to disrupt the current health care environment, create solutions that will improve the patient physician encounter and decrease physician burnout.
