The day he was sworn in, President Trump signed an executive order with instructions “to waive, defer, grant exemptions from, or delay” the Affordable Care Act (ACA) as an interim measure while Congress prepared to repeal and replace the ACA. Since that was unsuccessful, the President has taken several measures to dismantle the ACA.
